前回まで過去のことを表す文を勉強してきましたね。
今回は未来の時制を表す表現方法を学んでいきたいと思います。
大きく二つの方法があるので、それぞれ見ていきましょう！
１２－１ be going to ~ の文
beはbe動詞のことだったので、am,are,isのどれかが入ります。また、肯定文や否定文、疑問文の作り方もbe動詞と同じように作っていきます。be動詞についてはこれらの記事で解説しています。
おぼえておきたいのは訳し方です。
「～する予定だ。」「～するつもりだ。」というように訳をしていきます。
例文
（例）He is going to visit Tokyo next Sunday.
彼は今度の日曜日、東京と訪れる予定です。
（例）I‘m not going to watch TV tomorrow.
私は明日、テレビを見る予定ではありません。
（例）Are you going to be a teacher in the future?
あなたは将来、先生になるつもりですか？
動詞の原形が来ることと、青色の線で引いてある場所が未来の日時を示す語句になっているので、チェックしておきましょう！
例題１
次の文に（）内の語を加えて、be going toを用いた文に書き換えなさい。
（１）My brother walks to school. (tomorrow morning)
（２）Emi doesn’t play tennis. (next week)
（３）Do they listen to music? (this evening)
（４）What does Tom eat for dinner? (tonight)
（１）主語はMy brotherなので、be動詞はisになりますね。
My brother is going to walk to school tomorrow morning.
（２）主語はEmiなので、be動詞はisになりますね。否定文です。
Emi isn’t going to play tennis next week.
（３）主語はtheyなので、be動詞はareになりますね。疑問文です。
Are they going to listen to music this evening?
（４）少し応用問題です。疑問詞のwhatはそのままで、他を変えていきましょう。
What is Tom going to eat for dinner tonight?
動詞が原形でよいので、過去を表す文よりも簡単ですね。それでは確認問題です。

次の文に（）内の語を加えて、be going toを用いた文に書き換えなさい。
（１）Bill goes to the library. (next Friday)
（２）I don’t study English. (tomorrow afternoon)

１２－２ will を使った文
もう一つの方法はwillを使う方法です。willは以前勉強したcanと同じ助動詞と呼ばれるものです。
特徴としては
①助動詞＋動詞の原形で使われること。
②助動詞＋notで否定文が作れること。
③助動詞を前に持っていけば疑問文が作れること。
の３つです。訳し方はbe going toと同じで、「～するつもりだ。」「～する予定だ。」というように訳をしていきます。canについてはこちらで復習しておきましょう。
例文
（例）He will visit Tokyo next Sunday.
彼は今度の日曜日に東京に行くつもりです。
（例）I will not watch TV tomorrow.
私は明日テレビを見ないつもりです。
（例）Will he come to the party? – Yes, he will./No, he won’t.
彼はパーティーに来るでしょうか？

次の文に（）内の語を加えて、willを用いた文に書き換えなさい。
（１）My brother walks to school. (tomorrow morning)
（２）Emi doesn’t play tennis. (next week)
（３）Do they listen to music? (this evening)

前回の例題よりも簡単だと思います。一気に答えを書いていきます。
（１）My brother will walk to school tomorrow morning.
（２）Emi will not play tennis next week.
（３）Will they listen to music this evening?
（４）What will Tom eat for dinner tonight?
